At first I bought cheap batteries, and the first 5 months without a problem, but after the battery BMS failure, I bought a new battery and BMS, installed and working well. But I wanted to know what caused the previous failure, so I disassembled one of the faulty batteries and tested its voltage. The voltage reading of the faulty battery is 13.45 volts, indicating that the battery is in good charge. However, the battery did not work when connected to a system that had bypassed the BMS, which further confirmed the faulty BMS. At this stage, can I try some methods to try to disassemble the battery and somehow get the BMS back to normal?

I was away from home, and my e-bike lost all power after I leaned it against a tree. Twice, the BMS cut off the power for no reason and could not restart until I recharged it. I tried to disconnect the power supply five times, but the voltage of the BMS remained zero until the charger was connected. Why did it repeatedly disconnect for no reason before charging?

I know the BMS can protect the battery pack circuit, but if something happens and the BMS fails, will there be any serious ripple effects?

I recently purchased a 2023 Surron with a 40AH battery. I’d like to increase the top speed slightly, and also possibly increase the torque a bit past 15 MPH.
From what I’ve seen, the main limiting factor to battery performance is the stock BMS, and I’ve seen several people mention the ANT BMS, which supposedly allows for higher discharge rates and also has Bluetooth capabilities for more information on battery condition. And it doesn’t seem like it would cost more than $200 or so, which I can still afford within my budget. Is it recommended that I replace the BMS?

We are working on a project to install wireless BMS in lithium battery packs, and I wonder if wireless BMS will become the mainstream of lithium battery packs?

Now the network speed is getting faster and more stable, which also provides the possibility of cloud BMS implementation. Could this be the main way forward for BMS?

I want to measure the current of the BMS battery pack. Is there any way to measure it accurately?
